{"id":7135,"date":"2024-04-13T22:01:01","date_gmt":"2024-04-13T14:01:01","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-04-13T22:01:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-13T14:01:01","slug":"ETWS, CMAS","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mushiming.com\/7135.html","title":{"rendered":"ETWS, CMAS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ETWS: Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System \u5730\u9707\u548c\u6d77\u5578\u9884\u8b66\u7cfb\u7edf<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ETWS is a public warning system with the purpose&nbsp;to broadcast emergency information to all the users in a specific area in a situation&nbsp;like Earthquake or Tsunami. This help to broadcast emergency situation by&nbsp;a local or national authorities to users as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are two types of notifications the ETWS that is primary and secondary notifications.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Primary Notification<\/em>&nbsp;contains only simple patterned type of disaster information, such as \u201cEarthquake\u201d, or \u201cTsunami\u201d, or \u201cTsunami + Earthquake,\u201d etc.&nbsp;When a mobile user&nbsp;receives a Primary Notification, it&nbsp;produces a pre-set alert sound and displays pre-determined&nbsp;text on the screen according to the message content to notify users&nbsp;of the danger.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Secondary Notification<\/em> contains&nbsp;detail textual information like the epicentre, seismic intensity and other such information related to danger.<\/p>\n<p>ETWS primary notification is carried by <em>SIB10<\/em> and ETWS secondary notifications carried by <em>SIB11<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CMAS: Commercial Mobile Alert System \u5546\u7528\u79fb\u52a8\u9884\u8b66\u7cfb\u7edf<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CMAS notifications carry high emerygency situations.<\/p>\n<p>It is carry by <em>SIB12<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>There is <em>an IE in paging message which indicate the presence of CMAS<\/em>. When decode paging message came to know about CMAS notification and start to receive and decode SIB12 immediately after reading SIB1.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are three types of alerts through CMAS:<\/p>\n<p>1. Alerts issued by the President or higher authority of geographical area.<\/p>\n<p>2. Alerts involving imminent threats to safety of life, issued in two different categories: extreme threats and severe threats.<\/p>\n<p>3.
